November 15

I'm posting on Kindredly about mine and JG's BBQ Tour! We're such dorks. Today, we tried Glen's BBQ in Conyers.

November 14

Michael by Michael Kors purple suede pumps

HiS!!! These are the shoes I told you about a couple of weeks ago. I was still thinking about them, and luckily one size 7 was still there! I found these beauties at Marshall's for $50. Go to your local Marshalls and grab them! They are on clearance with an identical brown pair of mary janes.

November 13

I love JG's new passion for cooking. He looked up a special marinade for steak and grilled us these HUGE steaks. It was delicious. Next time, we're trying it on filet.

November 12

Jonathan took the camera today, and look at his course! Fall has arrived, and it's so pretty...

November 11

Gretchen left me this African Violet when she so selfishly left work to go have another baby (for shame). This is a photo of the African Violet now....it's aliiiiiive!!! You know, planters with the outer bowl for water, are seriously awesome.

November 10

Wait...is that Mr. Bowser Fogle Bellamy?

JG and I had dinner with the Snider's at Flip Burger. I found this cute little face on the wall in the ladies room. Who did it remind me of? Mr. Bowser Bellamy, cherished pup belonging to bestie, Kim Bellamy.

November 9

a gift to myself...

My boss gave my co-worker the prettiest, daintiest necklace for her birthday, and that got me thinking....I want a pretty, dainty necklace. Next thing I new, I was on etsy, specifically Roundabout Designs, buying this beauty. It's a tiny little gold chain with a tear drop Swarovski crystal looped through. I absolutely love it. It also comes in silver. I thought about going with the silver to pair with my diamond, but I might be able to get away with mixing the two....we'll see. Merry Christmas to myself!

November 8

I, or I should say JG (begrudgingly), hung my chandelier in my bathroom tonight. What does one do with all that leftover cord? I mean, there is nowhere for it to go....help!!!!!! (I think I'm going to post in more detail about this at Kindredly....I might need an electrician!)

November 7

Jonathan and Granny spent all morning in her basement working on the Famous Williams' Brunswick Stew...here's Granny letting Harold sample the final batch. Look at that pot!

November 6

I should have taken a photo of me leaving work at 5 on a Friday. I know, everyone leaves work at 5 on Fridays, but we've been spoiled. We usually get out early, but not today.

I also could have taken a photo of me banging my head on my steering wheel, desperately trying to get to my in-laws. Traffic was horrible all the way through the city, through Gwinnett county and all the way past the Mall of Georgia. I.N.S.A.N.E.

November 5

Ok, so my wonderful, awesome stepdad surprised us for our usual dinner with the grandparents night. He was working in Greenville all day, and my mom told us he wouldn't make it....oh, but he did....in a bright, taxi cab yellow Chevy Aveo! Hilarious!

November 4

me & augusten

If you've been keeping up with Kindredly, you know how totally pumped I was to go to Augusten Burroughs' book signing. Here we are! I'm a little greasy and he's a little.....over it? Had to share, and don't hate, it's my Facebook profile pic! :)

November 3

whoops.

November 2

Mia & JG

November 1

The table after I painted it. Lamps must be purchased very soon because they look totally stupid in this room. What do you think? I need to get one of those cord holders to help keep the cords out of the way....I'm pretty happy with how they came out and such an inexpensive addition!

October 31

Happy Halloween!!! We had a really sad turnout of trick-or-treaters. This year was our first year in the house at Halloween, so we didn't know what to expect. We'll be eating sweet tarts and dum dums into next year. At least I gave out most of the chocolate.

Jonathan bought this scary mask, but I wrangled it away from him for a photo....and this is how it came out. About 15 Bud Lights in, I think.

October 30

Marley & Mia....threw the pillows off and everything...

October 29

it's ridiculous how spoiled these pups are.....

October 28

Our fridge looks like this when JG is preparing to smoke something.....on his smoker, of course. We're gearing up for Halloween yumminess.

October 27

When I get home from work, Marley freaks out and usually grabs something to take through the doggie door. Today he literally jumped up and grabbed the scarf I was wearing. After I wiggled out of it, I chased him to the backyard to try to get him to drop it...it's thin, new, and I didn't want it to rip. He looked so cute with it in his mouth, I snapped a few pics of him.
